Wyoming Attorney General, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU)

Investigates and prosecutes Medicaid provider fraud and the abuse, neglect or exploitation of residents of Medicaid-funded health care facilities, including Medicaid recipients in their homes. The Wyoming Department of Health separately operates a Program Integrity Fraud Hotline, (855) 846-2563, for suspected Medicaid-recipient (rather than provider) fraud.

Wyoming Attorney General, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU)

Investigates and prosecutes Medicaid provider billing fraud and the abuse, neglect or exploitation of residents of Medicaid-funded health care facilities or of Medicaid recipients in home and community settings; its authority covers Medicaid-program fraud, not general private-pay billing disputes. Suspected Medicaid-recipient fraud (as opposed to provider fraud) instead goes to the Wyoming Department of Health's Program Integrity Fraud Hotline, (855) 846-2563.
